Hiya, just want to give you thanks for your entry. I'm TI manager and we use a Logi Connect camera sometimes. The other day I found a second unit stored in a drawer and said "Nice!". But something shook my head: An HDMI? WTF? I was blind all this time?. I ran to check the other unit and I'm not driving mad. No HDMI! Thankfully your post has confirmed my suspicion. Thanks!

Now I blame the brand for not adding "Rev2" to the post 2020 models. Indeed, looking the serials, the HDMI version is from 2017 and my day-to-day version it's from 2021 but P/N are equal (960-001034). And obviously for contradictory information.

BTW My HDMI model works with Win11 22H2 at least. Give it another try ;)

Yeah that's nuts! They're even still advertising the screen mirroring in the official datasheet. Sadly I never got an answer to my inquiry.

"Lucky" for me: Since I had to switch to Windows 11, the problem is solved - it just doesn't work at all ;) So now I have an 300 Euro paperweight. Even my about 15 years old webcam works out of the box with every Linux and Windows 11 ...

I have a Logitech ConferenceCam Connect and wanted to upgrade it to the latest firmware, where I see in the upgrade notes: Software Version: 2.4.36 NOTE: this update permanently removes the Miracast feature. If you regularly use Miracast, do not apply this update.

What madness is this? Why are they disabling a key feature of this product that works well? Is it some licensing issue or perhaps some massive vulnerability? Absolutely crazy!
